Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly motivated Financial Analyst to join our team at Unilever U.K. Central Resources Limited. This role will be crucial in providing robust financial analysis, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring the financial health and compliance of the organization.
Job Responsibilities**
* Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, translating complex data into actionable Analytics Insights.
* Develop, manage, and monitor company budgets, ensuring adherence to financial plans and providing regular updates to stakeholders.
* Utilize strong Business Acumen to understand the broader commercial context and its impact on financial performance.
* Create compelling Data Visualization reports and presentations to communicate financial information effectively to diverse audiences.
* Prepare and analyze Financial Accounting and Reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.
* Leverage expertise in Financial Accounting Systems to optimize data extraction, analysis, and reporting processes.
* Perform comprehensive Financial Analysis, including variance analysis, forecasting, and profitability assessments.
* Contribute to Financial Planning initiatives, supporting long-term strategic goals and resource allocation.
* Ensure all financial practices adhere to Generally Accepted Accounting principles and company policies.
* Employ strong Influencing Skills to drive adoption of financial best practices and secure buy-in for financial recommendations.
* Implement and monitor Internal Controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
* Identify, assess, and mitigate financial Risk Management issues, developing proactive strategies.
* Effectively manage relationships with internal and external Stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
* Oversee Vendor Management processes from a financial perspective, optimizing costs and ensuring compliance.
Job Qualifications**
* Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting.
* Proficiency in financial accounting systems and data visualization tools.
* Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting principles.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders at various levels.
* Experience with internal controls and risk management.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
