Marketing Manager

Job Summary:
In this role you will drive marketing strategy to create consumer connections and deliver business growth through leading brands such as Dove, Axe, Omo, Knorr, Vaseline, Rexona, Persil & more. You will develop and implement marketing strategies across multiple channels including digital, media, shopper and e-commerce working closely with other teams within the business. This role also has accountability for performance management of key brand equity metrics in Nigeria.

Job Responsibilities:
• Create clear, compelling marketing strategies to meet both short and long term business objectives for Dove, Axe, Omo, Knorr, Vaseline, Rexona, Persil & more.
• Develop marketing plans by channel (digital, media, shopper and e-commerce) to deliver on marketing strategy
• Execute flawless execution of integrated marketing programs/activities in line with approved marketing plans
• Manage agency partnerships to ensure they are aligned to our brand vision and marketing strategy
• Deliver world class campaigns that build emotional connections between consumers and our brands.
• Build strong relationships with cross functional partners within the business to support delivery of marketing plans
• Monitor industry trends to identify new opportunities for our brands
• Lead initiatives to increase brand equity in Nigeria

Job Qualifications:
• Experience in developing and implementing multi-channel marketing strategies
• Proven experience in managing successful integrated marketing communications activities and campaigns
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with creative, media and PR agencies
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong commercial acumen
• Entrepreneurial mindset
• Ability to understand complex data and use it to drive insights and decisions
• Experience of building consumer connections using social media and digital platforms
• Ability to lead and inspire teams
