Job Summary:
Warehouse Leadership role responsible for leading and managing warehouse operations in a safe, efficient and cost effective manner to ensure customer service levels are met. This includes ensuring accurate inventory levels, timely order fulfilment, managing labour productivity and implementing process improvements to drive business success.

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the management of the day-to-day operation of the warehouse, including supervising staff, managing equipment maintenance and optimizing workflows to improve efficiency.
• Oversee inventory control systems and manage stock levels to ensure accuracy and minimize waste or obsolescence.
• Implement safety protocols and conduct regular audits to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
• Develop and implement strategies to reduce costs associated with warehousing operations, such as transportation and storage fees.
• Analyze data on warehouse performance and identify areas for improvement, implementing changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Collaborate with other departments within the organization to ensure smooth communication and coordination of warehousing activities.
• Manage vendor relationships related to warehousing services, negotiating contracts and resolving any issues that arise.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.
• Proficiency in using computer software applications, particularly Microsoft Excel and Access.
• Experience with inventory control systems and material handling equipment.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively communicate with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop teams.
