Business Context & Purpose of the Role
The PTAB region is one of Unilever Beauty & Wellbeing’s strategically important growth engines, combining large, young populations, rapid category expansion, and high exposure to core Skin Care propositions. PTAB plays a critical role in driving scale, access and affordability, while also shaping how Unilever builds brands in highly competitive, emerging-market ecosystems. Success in PTAB is essential to delivering sustainable volume-led growth, strengthening Brand Power at scale, and building capabilities that can be replicated across other growth markets.
The PTAB Skin Care Lead has end-to-end accountability for the Skin Care portfolio , with responsibility for our iconic brands such as Vaseline and Ponds. The role owns portfolio strategy, growth delivery and executional excellence, ensuring OTIF delivery of core renovations and innovation launches, competitive market share growth, sustained Brand Power improvement, and consistent social-first and in-market execution across the region’s diverse and complex markets.
The role partners closely with global and local teams, agencies and external partners to translate strategy into impact, accelerate digital and ecommerce-led growth, and embed Unilever’s SASSY (Social, Always-On, Simplified, Story-led, You-led) ways of working to build desire at scale and future-fit Skin Care capabilities across Beauty & Wellbeing.
Main Accountabilities
Own the PTAB Skin Care portfolio strategy, embedding Pond’s (face care & beauty-led skin) and Vaseline (body care & skin health) into a coherent Skin Care growth agenda, with clear role of brand, price-tier architecture and portfolio guardrails across markets.
Deliver USG-led growth and market share gains across the PTAB Skin Care portfolio (as per IBP), ensuring Brand Power growth or stability while balancing short-term performance delivery with long-term brand equity building.
Lead OTIF delivery of core renovations and innovation launches across PTAB, translating global platforms into region-relevant propositions that reflect climate and skin needs, affordability and pack-price architecture, and regulatory and channel constraints.
Build and land a 3-year Skin Care innovation and renovation funnel with clear annual value contribution, ensuring scalability, speed and executional excellence.
Drive desire at scale through SASSY-led, social-first communication and creator ecosystems, increasing creative effectiveness and strengthening launch moments by tightly linking social, media and in-store execution.
Act as the senior Skin Care interface across global brand teams, PTAB markets and distributors, and B&W cross-functional partners (R&D, Supply Chain, Finance, Procurement), enabling strong local execution while maintaining brand consistency, discipline and executional excellence.

Experience
Extensive experience in Beauty & Wellbeing, ideally across face and/or body care.
Proven track record leading large, cross-functional and multi-market teams.
Experience building and delivering long-term innovation pipelines and 3+ year brand roadmaps.
Demonstrated success in driving sustained Brand Power improvement through unmissable communication.
Experience creating or scaling new digital and ecommerce-led business models is a strong plus.
Exposure to Beauty Tech and new ways of operating would be advantageous.
