Job Summary: The Supply Chain Manager will lead all activities related to supply chain for the Sustainable Home Care Business Unit in Latin America. This includes developing and implementing strategies, policies, processes, systems and tools to ensure efficient, effective, sustainable and profitable end-to-end supply chain management. The position holder will be responsible for improving customer service levels, reducing total cost of ownership, driving innovation, increasing competitiveness, achieving business targets, and ensuring compliance with corporate standards, regulations and legislations. The SCM Lead will work closely with other functions such as Marketing, R&D, Finance, Operations, Quality, HR, IT, Procurement, Customer Service and Logistics to deliver world class results.
Responsibilities:
• Leading and managing teams working on logistics, transportation, warehousing, inventory, distribution, planning and customer service.
• Developing and implementing supply chain strategies, policies, processes, systems and tools to support achievement of business objectives.
• Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs and increase customer satisfaction through supply chain initiatives.
• Ensuring compliance with corporate standards, regulations and legislations related to supply chain management.
• Working cross functionally with other departments to resolve issues and achieve goals.
• Analyzing data and preparing reports to track performance against established metrics.
• Monitoring market trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 10 years experience in Supply Chain Management, preferably within Consumer Goods Industry.
• Strong knowledge of logistics, transportation, warehousing, inventory, distribution, planning and customer service operations.
• Experience leading and managing teams.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions.
• High degree of integrity, trustworthiness and credibility.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
